Michael A. Greene Political Info:

Who are you as a candidate?

A caring individual who is concerned with the lack of responsiveness to the needs of every Utahn.

Why were you willing to run for office?

To support the Personal Choice Party in order to keep it as a viable political force for the voters to choose from.

What do you feel you offer the voters in your race?

A strong belief in the issues that I endorse.

What does Personal Choice mean to you?

The right to create the life that I want, without government interference.

What issues are most important to you?

Continuing availability of mental health options for the citizens of Utah and their families and an awareness of the need to better address America's failed drug policies that endanger all of us.

How would you apply Personal Choice to the issues you mentioned?

Mental health issues affects one out of three families in Utah. Families need to be able to choose the most effective options available for their needs. Access to low-cost mental health care is an important element of this choice and I would work to ensure that this access continues.

Without a fully informed citizenry, productive and effective choices cannot be made on any social policy issue. The policies now in place that are intended to deal with the problems of illegal drugs have failed to be effective because we haven't been informed of their failure. Personal choice in this area would promote effective policy options.

I want government agencies entrusted with informing Utahns on these issues to provide accurate and realistic evaluations of current drug and mental health policies.

In what matters do you feel you should have more Personal Choice rather than Government involvement?

I feel I should have more Personal Choice rather than Government involvement in how I choose to treat my own and those of my family members' health and well-being.
